So who we are exactly?
Alliance is VHA's flagship magazine, featuring content that reinforces the value of membership. In 2011, Alliance transitions to digital, which includes a redesigned, interactive format, as well as expanded web presence on vha.com. Publishing bimonthly, Alliance magazine's circulation has also increased from 15,000 to more than 25,000 health care executives - including CEOs, CFOs, COOs and clinical leaders within every VHA member organization. The magazine continues to feature compelling member success stories that tie to issues relating to improving the operational and clinical performance of not-for-profit community hospitals.
For two years in a row, Alliance magazine has achieved industry recognition at the national level, earning ContentWise Magnum Opus awards in 2009 and 2010, as judged by faculty at the prestigious Missouri School of Journalism. Alliance also earned Aster Awards for Excellence in Medical Marketing over the past two consecutive years. Adding to this recognition is Alliance Focus, VHA's short-read electronic magazine that was introduced in 2009. Publishing between issues of Alliance magazine and reaching the same 25,000 members, Alliance Focus earned a 2010 Magnum Opus Bronze award for Electronic Publication/Best New Design.
